I just set up my first FreeSCO box
, and I was not sure if I set the nics up correctly. I cannot test it yet because I do not have the DSL installed yet
, but do I manually have to enter the I/O addresses and the IRQs for ISA nics? I am using a pair of 3Com 3C509 nics. FreeSCO says that it recognizes the eth0 and eth1 but I do not have a way to test and find out. I know that the nics work, but I am unsure if they are properly configured.
Thanks in advance.
BTW: It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, especially since I have not really used Linux before.
