I just set up my first FreeSCO box :), and I was not sure if I set the nics up correctly. I cannot test it yet because I do not have the DSL installed yet :(, but do I manually have to enter the I/O addresses and the IRQs for ISA nics? I am using a pair of 3Com 3C509 nics. FreeSCO says that it recognizes the eth0 and eth1 but I do not have a way to test and find out. I know that the nics work, but I am unsure if they are properly configured.

Thanks in advance.

BTW: It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, especially since I have not really used Linux before.

The fact that it's showing an eth0 and eth1 indicates that the cards are setup and ready. But, for additional verification you can do the following:

Go out to a different terminal - I think Freesco only has two. Login and, at the prompt, type ifconfig -a and hit enter. This will give you the details on the NICs. If it comes back with IP addresses, masks, etc., you're good to go.
