I still want to thank you guys so much , for helping the last time I needed Linux Help . Here are some of my questions

1)Is it possible , to extend the '/' partition with another disk ? My Root is full , and I really would like to extend it to get full functionality back to my system. My df looks like this

2)I've Managed to somehow stuff my .xinit or .xsession , and the thing never boots into kde but rather it boots into XFree86 Gprahical Login and is almost impossible to get out of there . I need to use multiple CTRL + Alt + Backspace

Replies Appreciated

1. Show us a dmesg and we may be able to help. 😉

Splitting the root probably isnt easy, if its even possible. Your best bet would be to spin off directories that should have been split off in the first place (/usr/local out of /usr, /usr could be its own, /home should be its own partition/slice/thing, etc).

2. Fix your config files from the command line.
