Holy sweetness MS is actually going to have a beta OS instead of just releasing a retail beta.

Just beware that you'll need 64 bit drivers for all of your hardware. ATI AFAIK hasn't released any Windows AMD64 drivers.

EDIT: Thanks for the link, I could only find the Server 2003 Enterprise Edition beta :p.

They haven't; but I think the Rage3d Fourms have people who figured out to get some working.

Cool, have a link? Hopefully they also hacked them to work with Mobility parts.

From what I've gatered over at Rage3D, the OS is supposed to have an ATi driver that's bundled with it, although I don't know if it has OGL support. It would work with Direct3D however. Someone needs to simply install it and tell us all if the Radeons work or not.

There was a comment over at slashdot that this is an older build version that has been
around for a while. It would be nice if a few of you mention the build # that comes up when
you are finished installing.

Well, we have 4-in-1 drivers for VIA chipsets and one for the video card built-in to windows. What more do we really need for drivers ?

Yes, there may be one or two games, and one or two benchmarks that are 64-bit, and that is all for now. I am sure something will show up soon, now that we all have something to play with for an OS.
