hmm,...whats the best one w/ out banners/advertising.

There used to be soo many

And you used to be able to write in the script to get rid of the geocities banners.

Anyone know of any...?I should probably just fork over for a domain...hrmm...

"If they are giving free website hosting and not putting banners on the site, how are they making money?"
Lets see...hosting a website (or websites) costs money. Not charging brings no revenue. No ads on the site brings no revenue.

Now, why would anyone voluntarily lose money to host other people's sites? Stop being a cheapass and go pay for hosting or let ads run amok.

To my knowledge, they're all out of business. Pretender wasn't being a jerk-off, and if you want to go around insulting everyone who offers an opinion for you, you may as well run off and play somewhere else. You won't make any friends that way.

Try HyperMart for a decent service that has ads.

I was trying to explain to you why you won't find any *legitimate* free web hosting sites without ads. If I insulted you, good, that's what I intended to do. People who freeload have been getting on my nerves recently.

I'm sorry, I didnt really feel like paying 40 dollars and 10+dollars a month for a temporary 4-5 page website.

And anyways, I was hoping to have it done by Saturday. The registration process usually takes that long.

But I've found one that will work.
