Free web hosting question

Objective: Set up a website that pretty much focuses on a hobby/sport that I like to participate in. Would like to upload a lot of pictures, add a guest book and be able to maybe have some sort of journal that will document various trips/experiences.

Is there anything out there available as freeware for something like this? I'm not looking to set up some super-high tech site. Just want a virtual journal of sorts but allowance for multiple images (possible some very short video clips as well). And something that's pretty "point and click" would be nice.
