Smart Buy seven 7-pks 289542 $34.93 ($4.99 ea) less $7 instant savings ($1 ea) less $28 mfr MIR ($4 ea). Lot of rebates but free in the end. 3/10-3/16

cool deal ....will have to ask g/f to pick this up .....

With my qualifying exams in a couple of weeks I jus' don't have time to get on to any hot deals🙁

I bought the TDK CDR spindle from Compusa last week...It had two MIR...as I was filling out the MIR form...I notice that both MIR required the original cpu.....don't know if they will accept photocopy or what.....have to give them a ring tomorrow....but I just want to remind yall to read the fine print on the MIR.......

Thanks allisolm for the deal.....🙂

dude, this sounds pretty good. i'd buy it for the jewel cases and use the crap cd-r media for file transfers that won't fit on floppy. GREAT POST!@

<< I guess I'm just slow...but I can't seem to find the rebate for this. Anyone kinda enough to link? >>

I can't find it online either. The newspaper ad says: "Quantities limited. No rainchecks. Not available via mail order/Internet. Postage and sales tax required for mail-in rebates." I guess it's a B&M-only deal.

Just got back from picking this up. Got the last 7 packs in the store. Only $28+- out of pocket. My wife is a teacher and is planning to burn a movie she made of one of her class fuintions. One for each kid so the timing here was great. Getting the jewel cases was the kicker.

So I would guess that you have to get the rebate form at the store.

quantities of the product limited, I can understand, but if you buy these expecting to use a rebate (and the CUSA dope tells you to get the rebate online) you'd think the rebate slips would be around somewhere. I'm all worked up - haha.

yeah this is one tough rebate requirement. shoud we go for it?
or send photocopy or what....😉

ALERT!! - Just got off the phone number listed on the rebate. The guy there said they are asking customers NOT to send in anything until they get the problem resolved about the form saying "limit ONE rebate". He said they should have an answer by Friday. The phone number is 800-288-8671.

By the way, to get the rebate form, go to www.cusarebates.com. Search for CompUSA sku 289542 and a date sometime this week.

(first post ever)

you rock, shopper94519 - thanks for the link. My simple caveman mind was unable to navigate to this pdf rebate without your much appreciated assistance. Their problem re "ONE" rebate per person sounds fine to me: send me the ONE rebate check for $28 bux and we are even. Its says on the face of the rebate "must purchase 7" & the AD is pretty clear these are $4 rebate each. Just stuff all the UPCs in one envelope w/ the rebate & receipt and KEEP COPIES OF BOTH THE REBATE AND THE AD and CALENDAR w/ their Phone # (800-288-8671), Rebate # (0210-006) etc. in your Palm for 10 weeks out.

peace all & tx again shopper - a much appreciated first post & welcome.

^^^
for a great deal on [crap] 16x CDRs WITH Slim Jewel Cases - 49 for free after rebate with your $28 loan to CrapUSA.

Sorry to bump this twice but free is always good. Buy it before 3/16.

i dont know about you people, but due to these hot deals, i have about 200-400 cd-r's just sitting here in my office or my room at home. what am i ever going to do with all these cd-r's that were either really really cheap or free after rebate. I think that I might try to design something with them>
