Amazon is trying hard to promote local.

$5 for a $10 amazon gift card first, then $4 off and mp3 purchase $7.99 or more, and now this.

Don't think there's any catch to the deal. Amazon is probably just trying to promote their music store and potentially gain new customers. Luckily they don't know I'm a cheapskate and this won't cause me to buy anything extra d:
