Free USB Hub Power Bar AR

One reviewer said it is USB 1.1 which is a deal killer for me.
USB1.1 = 5V
USB2.0 = 5V.

This thing is NOT a hub. It is simply provides +5V in little sockets that just happen to look a lot like USB connectors 😉

Maybe it's just me but.... if it's a hub, where do you plug it into your PC? There is no usb wire on the surger/bar itself. So I highly doubt it's a hub.

Judging by the product description I believe it's exactly what it says: it charges peripherals (and anything plugged in via standard power outlets).

comes with a cable, but usb 1.1, and poor quality are deal killers to me. I mean mixing 120 vac with cheap construction in the same package that connects to my pda and laptop, just doesn't seem smart.

The concept is good. I am just willing to pay and get something of better quality.

How about that USB outlet that says "In?"

im not embarrassed to say i was...lmao

i thought Power Bar was giving these things out if you bought a case of them or something

This item makes my head hurt. I don't think I understand what it does, and I really should. If you are in a room that has one outlet, and your computer has one USB port, and you are so limited on space, then I guess this is the product for you. It's been said before: the price is right.

the usb ports may be so you can charge your devices like ipods etc. without having a computer on. But I fail to see the convienience if there is a plug right beside it. Cool product tho, and nice find op!

People.....why is everyone having such a hard time with this?

It is:
a. a power strip
b. a USB HUB (NOTICE there are 5 connectors - 1 for IN and 4 for OUT)

But, being 1.1 is really a killer for most - otherwise, nice find, but repost. no sweat and peace! 🙂
