visio lets u design architectural blueprints for one.

erm, its like a cad thing but for specific purposes.
i played with it in my school lab for a short while cos i had to create the interior design of this place that i was doing a project on.

Actually Visio is not a CAD package, notlike AutoCAD anyway. Visio is an object drawing software that is great for creating any type of diagram. I use it to create network diagrams, flowcharts, etc. It is now part of the MS Office family, so lookup more info there.
