Think about it very carefully!
What do you do when you have an abundance of free time? Maybe you put it to better use, but I don't seem to. If you think about it, free time is bad, cause if you manage your time properly you will be doing SOMETHING most of the time. Hobbies, joking around and having a good time is still something and does not qualify as "free time" in this case. Unfortunately I've found I often have a large amount of free time with nothing to do. Instead of working on homework or studying or doing anything constructive, I find myself not doing anything at all. When I get more homework and I have to do it, once I get going I have less free time and I feel like I accomplish more, and more does get done. And after getting an email for a job interview, just the anticipation of having a job feels good. Having time filled in, working at some job whatever the hell it is boring or fun - earning money - I guess a sense of accomplishment. It's elimination of bad free time. A job on the side along with my studies (oncampus job is perfect too), helps get rid of huge blocks of nothingness in the day. Which is great, I don't know why. I hate having nothing to do. When I DON'T have anything to do, I feel like I don't want to do anything! May sound deranged/twisted somehow, but that's the way it is, for me at least. When I'm sitting around all blah, I don't want to do anything. But when I'm doing something, I feel like doing more or I just feel better that I am actually doing something or have done something.
Can anybody relate to this, or does it just sound like complete babble to you?
