Actually to correct you; "statement and position he admittedly can't prove."

...and you cannot disprove. Nothing can be proven 100% of the time, even the election process itself has a human error associated with it. The votes were counted correctly 99.999% of the time but one must assume 100% for all intents and purposes.

I have never seen an instance where extreme opposites have come together and solved something, therefore it is my perception that you need a moderate/moderation. Seeing how you seem to have the same perception as I (unable to propose reasoning showing extremists can work together on an issue), I can therefore assume my statement is correct.
