hmmm I've tried all the newest image editing progs, but I'm still using the same psp5 that I've used since 1997 because for I have yet to find a prog that's better. is this that prog? we shall see.....

Give Photoshop 7 a try. I wish my boss would get the upgrade for CS though.

7 > CS

Riiiight.. cause money grows on trees and everyone wants to pay $700 for an image editor!

Um... Photoshop 7 IS better than Photoshop CS. What are *you* talking about?

I like ULeads PhotoImpact

Mine first came bundled in a scanner deal a long time ago and I've since "upgraded" in a FAR deal through amazon. I've seen "recent" versions (Not the "latest" -- but still really good) in the bargain bins at OD and CompUSA for $5 to $10. I think I read some complaints on the latest version vs. earlier versions at amazon -- so I'm holding off on any upgrade till they have something I just can't live without.

I've seen PhotoImpact 5 at Half Price Books for ~$3

Why?

Can't afford both, so would curious to know why the newer updated suite version is worse.
