Joker,

You've got to be kidding me, this guy hasn't completed his site yet, but you'd trust him with your taxes?

Click on Filing ( HyperLink on left) - Take you to a "Coming Soon" page.

The reason they won't let you prepare your return yet its because the IRS doesn't accept electronic returns for the 2000 tax season until January 15, 2001.

Does H&R Block still offer free online tax preparation? Some mutual fund companies, like T. Rowe Price and Vanguard, offer Turbo Tax for free to their customers (online for Vanguard, CD-ROM for Price).

I'd rather use something very popular because then mistakes are much more likely to be publicized (and corrected).

No thanks, I've been using my accountant for years and believe me shes saved me a minimum of what I've paid her in fees. I've recommended her to all of my friends and the ones that utilize her are still doing so, so I assume that she is also saving them $. When it comes to taxes I honestly believe you get what you pay for. 0$ invested = 0% saved in taxes.

Here is a free site.
I tried to use them last year, but I couldn't get the work out of state tax credit to work so I didn't use them.
