Ok, yeah, it's only 128MB but hey... it's FREE!

Always nice to have a backup of your resume and whatnot, right?

AVAYA link

Just click on the "If you don't have a PIN, click here. "

"Only" 128MB, but for the price, who cares?

128MB is more than enough for those quick, little files that you would otherwise end up wasting a CD to transfer.

Thanks.

I don't think you have to put pen-to-paper. I'll try for the free USB and if they come back saying I have to spend 75k then I'll say, 'no thanks.' But I am thinking that you will get the USB drive if you qualify as a 'possible' client... not if you become one.

To each his own.

Cheers!

Quick lesson on footnotes. You don't lop them all together. Only the first one applies to the superscripted (1) found in the text relating to the USB drive. The superscripted (2) refers to the Free ROI evaluation and demo.

Footnote #2 refers to this:
Our Limited time offer requires no payment for first three months.2
Its part of this:
Sign up for a FREE ROI EVALUATION & DEMO conducted by one of our Meeting Exchange Sales Specialists and find out how much you can save. Just complete the fields on the right.
LIMITED OFFER
Take advantage of our limited time offer. Buy now and save on capital expenditures.
Notice how they mention this:
Respond today to claim your FREE Swiss Army® AirTravel USB Drive packed with useful conferencing information. ¹ FREE Swiss Army® AirTravel USB Drive
In other words by responding, they will send you the USB. No need for further obligation. If you want to take advantage of the rest of the loan stuff, then its no payment for 1st 3 months if you comply with footnote #2.

Cliff notes: Respond and get the USB drive. Sign up for loan if you want the no loan payments for 3 months (responding would obviously be the first step if you wanted to do this).
DONT check the box at top unless you want them to contact you.
As well, make sure all 3 boxes at bottom are set to NO so they dont have permission to email/phone/snail mail you.

Side note: Since footnote #1 says qualified respondants only get the USB drive, if they get too many requests they could just decide to say the qualifying part means they are allowed to contact you, or something similar to try and only get the USB drives out to people who are going to buy this telephony/conferancing setup.

Not only that: analyzing fine print, going to the msg boards for others' opinions... time is money my friend.

The only longshot will be if they decide to start limiting them because of too many requests.

I wish I would have never got it. That thing sucked.

Did anyone notice the site says the flash drive comes prepacked with conferencing goodies or some crap like that?
EDIT: What's the chance these are read-only and unremovable or something very annoying? Btw I went in for one, I guess we'll see

Unremoveable? What, like you put it in your USB slot and it suddenly "locks" itself in? Now THAT I would like to see... :p
