Free stuff from Staedtler (need to take a short survey)

Go to the URL "http://www.staedtler-usa.com/" & click on "Click here to take our product survey" on top left. At the end of the very short survey (took me a minute) it just said I will receive free product but not exactly what. I figure it can't be all that bad coming from Staedtler.

The catch is you need the UPC number of one of their products - you can use mine "031901933272" (the awesome liquid point roller pen)!

I just received my "free" stuff from Staedtler! It turned out to be a pencil, albeit a darn good one. I was hoping for one of their excellent pens!! But, still it is free, right? I shouldn't be complaining....

Me too! It is a pretty good one. The shaft is triangular with a hefty metal bottom. The eraser design is a little weak though.

It is really nice. I bought one their other pencils and I like this one for its nice slim design. One thing i noticed was that it doesn't say anywhere on the pencil where it is made. One of the questions on the survey was something like "do you perceive a quality difference between an article "made in Germany" as opposed to somewhere else?" Interesting.

Bah, none of the codes are working for me. I have a bunch of their things, which BTW are very high quality, and none of the bar code work. I've even tried the one WorldTraveler gave, but no luck.

AT effect ... Staedtler probably sold only like three of those things that WorldTraveler bought, and 60,000 evil AT'ers came knockin'.

I don't really care whether or not the pens are made in Germany - just as long as they are not made in France! :evil:
