Got my free steak voucher from Outback but the free steak site is hosed now. Never seen so many sites go down so quickly.

I have never had a steak from Outback, though, I hear they are "good."

But, (steak snob), I will never, ever order a steak from any restaurant, because I know I can do it 10 times better at home. I have a local butcher, and a charcoal grill, and I know how to do it right. I've even tried the Alton Brown cast iron skillet method, and it is far superior to any "steak house" that I have tried.

The only exception being prime rib. I can't seem to reproduce the succulent prime rib and seasoning that my favorite local restaurant provides. My wife and I enjoy the occasional Saturday night out for the Prime Rib special.


Edit: Thank you for the voucher link. I may have to try it with this great deal.

They wouldn't get it. The voucher comes thru mail

Anyway, my first attempt was on my iPhone. It seemed to hang forever, verifying my information. I gave up and clicked OP's link from a desktop browser. I don't think I even entered a zip code. The phone suddenly gave a message that said "ONE PER HOUSEHOLD!" and I had to do-over from the start.

Site seems hosed, after I enter my zip I'm getting a 1-line text screen with a latitude/longitude on it.

I have never been to Outback but I figure free steak is a good enough reason to try it out
 
They're not going out of business are they? Kind of reminds me of the increasing number of Groupon offers that put up these amazing deals as a way to get some last minute cash before they close up shop permanently. s
 
Mwaahahahaha... got mine. I tried on IE, Chrome, and FF and could only get it to work through FF. I used my current address, the address we just moved from (mail forwarding, baby!) and my parents address... THREE DINNERS!!!!
