Hello!

First post so forgive me if I break some conventions. I've monitored the boards for awhile and boy are some of you rough... here's the deals:

Free Cyber Acoustics 3-piece Speaker Set (B&M)
These speakers sell at Computer City for $39.99 and there's an exclusive Computer City rebate for $40. When I bought mine at the Mississauga, Ontario store yesterday there were more than ten sets left. Here's a product link:

Free Browser CD's (Online)
Nintendo has teamed up with Media Browser and released two themed broswers. You can download them or sign up for a free CD. The Mario Tennis browser free CD sign up is at:
http://www.mediabrowser.com/browsers/nintendo/mariotennis/CDRequestForm.htm

The Pokemon Broswer sign up is at:
http://www.mediabrowser.com/browsers/nintendo/CDRequestForm.htm

Free Games Magazine Subscription FOR LIFE:
I saw this on Daily Radar yesterday and they're offering a free lifetime subscription to Game Live Magazine, delivered monthly. Sign up at:
http://www.gameliveonline.com/

Finally if you've been looking to register a domain name I'd suggest http://www.easyhosting.com. At $15 CAN, or approx. $10 US this is as cheap as it's going to get. The reason is that Easy Hosting is owned by Look Communications who started Open SRS. In brief, Open SRS is a second level registration system that allows smaller third party companies (ie: all those small companies who offer domains for $11, $12, $13) to offer their own registration service that interacts with the Open SRS system. The cost for using this system is $10 US per domain. Thus Easy Hosting is 'essentially' offering it at cost, however it's owned by the same parent so I'll make a profit where no one else could and therefore *should* be the cheapest out there. For more Open SRS info check out:
http://www.opensrs.com/

I have registered a domain with them before and the service was great.

Now that the deals are out of the way could you please point me to the top 5 deal sites? Are there any Canadian specific deal sites?

Thanks,

Derek Szeto

I think Computer City was bought by CompUSA. Our local store closed when CompUSA came to town

Yep,

Computer City was golbled up by CompuUSA & Future Shop closed - both happened in the US, but not Canada.

You Canadians are just plain better customers, no shoplifting or scamming.

The best site ive seen so far is slickdeals (the extension is net, they wont let me post the address) , it has alot of links to free stuff (shirts, pens etc) and coupons/deals at stores. Some of the links only mail to states, although, the majority mail anywhere. The only complaint I have about this site is that once and a while a repost will creap back in nad the free stuff hasn't been as abundent lately

the second one just for coupons and stuff is www.savingumoney.com Its a canadian based site I think but it has deals all over the states and canada

thats all the sites I know of, Hope it helps
