I love how you can zoom in on parts of the United states and hit the "USGM-1m" button and get highly detailed satellite pictures that get sharper as you get closer. Many times you can zoom right in to the point and see your own house. The mouse scroll button zooms you in and out real fast. This is really awesome. I wish the satellite photos worked on other parts of the world.

Same here, wuts goin on? Also, when I try to install the 1.2b to 1.2c patch, it says insall failed everytime

Well, there has been so much commotion about this app, I believe the server got hit hard, and fast. Seems it "caused" a hardware problem in one of their computer systems. Over at their forums, they said it would be a couple weeks to a month before it would get running again. This was a couple weeks ago.

For now, though, just click the USGS-1m button before use, and only zoom in on USA.
 
This is great! My 5 year old son loves it. We spent an hour going around the globe explaining the diff between continents and countries.

Is there a way to mess with how far away you can zoom out with the textures? I want to use the USGS stuff, but when i try to zoom out to hold the state of missouri, i just turns to green. I'd like to be able to view the lowest rez images for when i zoom out to the state level.
