First of all if you go to this site: snackcake you'll get a coupon for $2.00 off any snack cake from Betty Crocker, which make it basically free since they sell for about $2.00.

Somehow to print out the coupon, they download a hidden file so that you can only print one.:disgust: you can do a search on brightstreet , betty crocker, etc. and delete the hidden files, delete cookies, temp internet files, etc. Even going to safeweb doesn't work. If you are able to print another coupon, it comes out with "sorry, you have exceeded your household limit..."

It really bothers me that they can hide something so deep in my computers. I know you guys can figure this out for me! :|

I don't really give a d**n about the free snackcakes, I'm just pissed that they're hiding files.

Have you tried searching your c: drive for *.* (all files), and then sorting them by date? That should find it. It might take a while, but it should work.

Just a note, each coupon has an independent pin #, so if you try to use the same pin # all over the place, they'll at least be able to notice that, not that it is worth much, but might want to consider paying ca$h if you were planning on using more than one.

I just noticed that, too. Deleted the link & file from server.

Looks like the coupon is created on the fly:

<<
_0_MEMBCD = "{PIN XXXXXXXXX}"
_0_MEMBCDNOPIN = "{XXXXXXXXX}"
_0_OFFRCD = "{24529}"
_0_BCDUPCA = "{051600026182}"
_0_MRV = "{$2.00}"
_0_CHKDGTOFFRCD = "{6}"
_0_EXP = "{Expires 12-13-2001}"
_0_EEXP = "{Expires 13-12-2001}"
_0_VALUE1 = "{$2.00}"
_0_SAVE = "{Save $2.00}"
_0_TERMS = "{when you buy any flavor Betty Crocker® Snackin' Cake Mix®. It's the loaded-with-chunks cake you mix and bake in the same pan.}"
>>

I assume that plug-in they have you download creates the coupon out of the code.

That was my conclusion as well.

Well, cr@p...I went through the whole thing, downloaded the plugin and got a screen that said 'Thank you! We hope you enjoy your coupon!'...except I didn't get a coupon. Now when I go back it says 'only one per household'. I assume it was supposed to send it straight to the printer? B@st@rds...I didn't get my coupon! Oh well...big whoop.

i got an idea... use a computer that has deepfreeze installed (if you at school all the computers at my school have it) it resets your hard drive everytime you reboot.. that way it would deleted the hidden file and you could use it as many times as you would like... i am going to try it tomorrow at school..

It has a different pin for each one so you can't photocopy it. It also says not to because it would be fraud. The site adds something to your registery, I'm not going to go into detail about since I know someone stupid will blame for me for screwing up their computer because they deleted the wrong registery file...

call me crazy but you can just GO TO ANOTHER F'ING computer!

lol...off to the computer center I go! How many coupons I print, nobody knows!

kidding...

I grabbed one coupon and this IS a sweet deal but you can probably just go to another computer and print one out, get some friends and ask to print something lol.

To get better quality than copying, how about setting your default printer as print to file.....
