I was thinking you needed to own one of thoe voip phones to use it. Thanks OPP I didnt have to just my lousy logitech headset and Im golden. Called all my family members and for free. WEEEEEEEEEEEE HOOO
That looks like a good find. How much trouble is it to setup? Just install the extra software and plug in with USB? Have you tried it with skype yet? Does it seem to work pretty well with it? I'm definately interested in grabbing one for that price, even if it isn't wireless. Heck I can use it on my laptop if I need too since I have wireless in my home.Originally posted by: BUSTaMOD
Got up and running real fast. Bought this phone from Walmart for $24.99. I can call cell phones and land lines.

Wasn't this basically a free "service"?

FAX might work, if you think about it, Skype is just the connector, your PC could pass and receive the full "phone" bandwidth of signalling if somebody writes the software to run on your pc.
Short answer is somebody must be doing it now or working on it, its just too tasty not to do.
You might look at MaxEmail.Originally posted by: c627627
Thank you. But all I could find using that link are monthly subscription fax services.
$10 a month is not a good deal if you send a few pages every month or two, if that.
