Smells of scam... one per household = one per AOL account = one tickett. Who goes to an amusment park by themselves? A cheap and easy buck for Six Flags, but that's just my 2c

DarkKobold: A large sector of AOL users are teens, a large sector of amusement park visitors are also teens. Friends from different households could take advantage of this deal.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery of tickets by mail. Tickets expire 9/24/00.

Not bad, I gotta sign up for AOL now :)

I wonder if aol verifies that the screen name is valid, and mails the recipient address the tickets.

I am sure they would e-mail you. But why take the risk, just get a web certificate and sign on to AOL 500 free hours and mail yourself a ticket.

By the way, anyone have the registration for the 500 free hours? I still have the CD, but I threw away the paper :/

e-mail it to me if you could, i would appricate it, thanks.

Hrm, is it worth it to sign up for one month and go through all that hessel just to cancel later? Does anyone know if the tickets are valid for a FULL day at Six Flags or are they those cheap 5pm or later entrance only type tickets.. I got screwed once. I won tickets to Hollywood studios and they gave me 4 tickets that only admit after 6pm, which was pointless since the day is practically over.

Hey is there any kind AOL user here who is not going to use the ticket and can donate it to me ?

We are planning to go to the Denver SixFlags (Elitch Gardens) pretty soon, but I am NOT an AOL member (nor do I know anyone here who is ... pretty surprising, but true :( ).

So please please pretty please (with sugar on top) if anyone is willing to part with their tickets (actually I need 2) please e-mail me at psxjunky@uswestmail.net

Thanks a lot in advance !!

I find this deal more than a little ironic considering AOL members aren't allowed to post here anymore :)

AOL got banned b/c a "troll" as the mod told me in countless emails was coming to anandtech and reporting false items or something...I am an aol user, and i use a free internet server on one computer and AOL on the other, so depending on which computer I am using, depends if i can post or not..I think it is b/c with AOL you can change screen names in about 30 seconds.

how long is 500 hours? i remember that whatever number of hoursthey give you, you get month of unlimited free...is there any that gives you more then 1 month free? oh, from previous experience, if you cancel over the phone they give you 1 or 2 months free depending on your reason.

Just making sure, they don't send any e-mail of any form to the e-mail address of the AOL user right?

David

PS. Damn anyone got free Magic Mountain LA tickets that they want to sell? I am looking for 3, but if you only have one that would be good enough.
