Don't know if/when this was posted, but it's a good deal. Go here and fill out the survey. Answer it however you want, they'll send send the stuff to you. After that you get to pick three free samples. I picked the 'Silver Conductive Grease,' 'Micro Tip Cnductive Pen,' and the 'Ultrajet All-Way Duster (aka Can-O-Air).' But you can pick whatever you want. They've got lots of stuff to pick from, and it's all FREE.

Also, if you go to their main page and click on 'FREE OFFER,' you can get a free solder wick (for anyone who want's to mod their mobo or something, and needs to de-solder something).

This was posted a loooooooooooooooong time ago, but it's good to see it up again for those newbies. Anybody know how long it takes for their stuff to come in?

I have gotten their' stuff for free. The Regular heatsink grease is a HUGE tube(almost toothpaste tube size). I don't know how long it takes for them to ship their' stuff but I think it's like 8weeks.

Sorry for posting this again, but I couldn't find it so I though newer people browsing should know about it.

As for delivery time, my stuff too like 2 weeks or something, I don't remember the exact date I ordered it on. Not bad considering it's free though. Don't even have to pay shipping. :)

Right on. Should I replace my Duron's pencil traces with my new conductive pen when it arrives?

Whoa. Check out the antistatic "Freeze Sprays". for your pc. Probably good for overclocking?

OCers should not get the conductive silver grease. It is designed to be electrically conductive, not thermally conductive. Maybe it will work, but it could short things out too. I got the heatsink grease.

No biggie, but the "FREE OFFER" on the homepage is listed as: "To receive your FREE SODER-WICK® DESOLDERING BRAID SIZING GUIDE"

It's a sizing guide....not a braid.

This is a decent coompany who has sent out stuff worth lots of money to many many people here. I'm not
sure why some don't ever receive stuff (maybe you don't look like a legit company?). Anyway, please do NOT abuse their offers, or it will dry it up for all here.

He's right about the Siliver Conductive Grease, it's not for heatsinks and it does conduct. I tried some on a T-Bird and got less than stellar results. Not even as good as Radio Shack stuff by like 5-8c. It's too gritty to work on the small core processors.

D'oh, sorry about the soder wick thing, I wasn't interested in it so I didn't really check it out.

As for the silver conductive grease, on the package it says

<< Provides maximum electrical and hermal conductivity >>

I haven't tried it out yet, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were worse, but it's still worth a try.

jmg888 you should only try it if you're having trouble with the led traces. I was having problems, they didn't always work, like sometimes when booting up it wouldn't work at all because the traces weren't conducting. Now it's working just fine.

Hmm, perhaps Cole from Case etc. should carry some of their stuff.

hm i tried their silver grease on the tbird, and it lowered the temp 8C over the radioshack stuff. then i replaced it with arctic silver, and it lowered it about 3C over the chemtronics stuff.

here's a tip, if the chemtronics silver grease is too thick/dry/gritty mix with with some normal thermal compound. you'll be surprised at the results.

Celeron 600 OC to 900 1.55 volts retail HSF, thanks to the EXCELLENT Chemtronics silver grease. I had it baking under a Celeron 300A OC to 472 for well over a year. When I took the processor out, the grease looked and felt like I had just put it in yesterday.

Are you just a user or is this company only? I went to fill out the survey and noticed it was a serious servey for industrial/repair companies. Does it matter?
