Free Showtime Preview for Comcast Customers 7/18-8/3

Pretty self-explanatory. Dunno if this is national. I live in Los Angeles. Considering they charge $56.95 for cable modem service, I'll be taking them up on all the free stuff they offer.

I couldv'e sworn that the dates were 8/1 to 8/15 for Comcast Digital subscribers

If you have the Comcast HD box you might get free SHO-HD channel as well as that's part of the package.

No doubt Comcast has got to be the biggest rip off in cable history. I wonder when showtime will give a freeview for directv? I pay $53 for cable internet here in WA.

Yeah they charge quite a bit. I was paying $115 for digital tv cable and cable internet. Now I got in on their new deal, $20 for the internet and $12.25 for the basic cable, then factor in the taxes, makes it a decent deal I guess. BTW I'm in OR.

Really, I did not know you could get there Internet for $20 and basic for $12, I am paying $43 for Internet and $10 for basic cable, or $53 without basic cable no matter what. I am in vancouver.

Make sure you check out "Dead Like Me" - It's a pretty great series IMO - I'm sure they'll have a few episodes running for the preview.

Don't know if it's the case this time, but in the past we've had to call and request the free preview be enabled before it would work.

Edit: I just spoke to a rep at 888-Comcast and at least for MD they were not aware of a preview.

It's working in Michigan as we speak.

In southwestern Michigan we get it from July 15th to August 15th :Q but only if you have a digital cable box 😛
