I'm glad that I know about these forums...but, man I sure feel sorry for ppl who fall for "FREE SHIPPING!" when the see that...b/c that means that friggin 'Newegg just roped some more unsuspecting customers in! I'd still rather deal with somebody like NewEgg offering free shipping while jacking up the prices than those idiots that play the PriceWatch games by lowballing the price and then charging $20 to ship an IDE cable 7 miles. They're both scams, but the high price/low shipping scam seens slightly more honest than the low price/high shipping method. At least it's easier to find out the price up front than to go though the whole charade of adding an item to your cart just to find out that you'd get hosed on shipping.

Hmmm, maybe newegg is a little cheaper, at least on the 1 gig Duron?

newegg does have one thing over tcwo....ship times. Alot of us get our newegg stuff in 2 days or less. I ordered a 1700+ from tcwo.com a couple fridays ago. I didn't get it until the second wednesday after that...12 days later.

Even if they say free shipping, and raise the price of the item they still beat almost anyone out there for all products for PC. Ive bought over 2000 dollars worth of items from them, even done a painless return. Calling them scamming is a little harsh. You let me know what company is better, and maybe then ill listen.....Just my humble opinion.
