the Rio Volt Portable CD MP3 Player is listed under Home Audio & Video yet does NOT have free shipping..... and the website says, "Enjoy Free Shipping on: all Electronics advertised specials" they lie!

Yeah, I'm not getting free shipping on most anything I bring up. Edit your post, there's something amiss with this "free shipping on ALL" deal. I think the free shipping applies only to advertised "electronics" items.

Amazon changed their "advertised specials" policy. It used to be that all items listed in the Sunday newspaper flyers had free shipping; now, only those items that have a picture of a truck next to them have free shipping. Unfortunately, the website does have the "truck" picture. If you have the flyer, it is easy to tell. Amazon has the following policy posted, but it does not appear accurate, if the Rio Volt does not have free shipping. Here's the current policy on advertised specials:

"Enjoy Free Shipping on:

all Electronics advertised specials
all orders over $99 in Kitchen & Housewares
all orders over $99 in Tools & Hardware"
