Code: FREESHIP
Site: Computer Geeks
Details: Good for $49.99 or higher order total. Must enter promo code during checkout. Offer valid for ground shipping to the continental USA. Not everything eligible for free shipping.
Expires: ???

Seems like bulkier stuff like cases aren't eligible, but most smaller items are. It will pretty plainly say in the item listing, item details and your shopping cart if an item is eligible for free shipping.

I placed an order for a number of items including four keyboard/mouse/speaker sets that were all eligible for free shipping.

Good items to consider:
input devices (for cheap builds and such)
Masscool socket 775 CPU cooler - tower design with three heatpipes, bolt-thru base for $18
stock up on cables and accessories
cheap interface cards (USB, NIC, wireless)
buying items for resale (but not here - no dealers in Hot Deals)
obsolete hardware that you really need (old CPUs, etc)
cheap carrying bags and CD cases/wallets

Items to avoid:
power supplies - most of them at Geeks are really crappy
hard drives - cheap, but most seem to be refurbs

Beware, some of the "refurbs" are actually used items, not factory refurbished.

I bought a keyboard from there once that was completely disgusting.
Greasy palm prints and chunks of who knows what in the keys.
It certainly put a damper on me wanting to purchase from them again.

For as many horror stories that I've heard about geeks.com, I've never personally had any troubles.

I would suggest, though, to avoid purchasing any of their cheap ATX cases. They are REALLY cheap, and after shipping, you don't save all that much. (After all, Antec 300 cases are $40-50 on sale at Microcenter)

I said I was not going to order any more from them a while back because of the wrong items and poor packaging but I've placed several orders with them since then and they have been ok. They have stuff that's hard to find elsewhere at good prices.

I've bought a few things from Geeks.com and haven't had any problems with them, but the ONE ITEM that I want to buy from them never qualifies for their free shipping promo. It sucketh.
