As you all may know already, EBGames.com has free shipping on all items on their website. This combined with the 25% off preowned games coupon code makes for really great deals! This coupon is also good on preowned DVD's too. Since we can't post coupon codes on the board, google it or check out the link in my sig. Please share any other good deals that you find.

Here are a few to check out:

Hottest GC deal ever! ;)

Mgriff01: you need to pick through the games to see which appeal to you. I've given you a handy sorted by price list above. Sega sports games are pretty good. There aren't many other under $8.99 before discount games that look too good to me in the Gamecube or Xbox sections (I either have it already or don't want it).

I just went to ebgames.com and it says 15% off preowned games. Am I missing the 25% or did they CHANGE it?!

It's still available. The public code is 15%, but there's a 25% off code. Read the first post.

The 25% coupon has been around for a long time, I've bought a few things with it. great price. And I think if you are done with the game, and can sell it again to ebgames =P

Anyhoo, for GC games, I'm looking at the resident evil games. Are they any good? They are only $17.99 each. After 25% off, would be only about $13.

Select a shipping option:
One-Day Air 1 business day $8.99
Two-Day Air 2 business days $5.99
Three-Day 3 business days $4.99
EB Saver 6-12 business days $0

Free shipping takes this long?

Does anyone know if I can use this 25% off coupon more than once? Can I make multiple orders? Or does it only work once per person so I would have to buy everything I want at one time?

The discounts are also good on preowned movies. There were more cheap movies than I wanted than games. In the end I got five movies and a dreamcast VMU for $38 shipped.

How about it? Anyone have any experience with these used games and movies from ebgames.com? Everything arrive in good condition? Ever get any bad items? How is EB's return policy on the used stuff? How about their customer service?

I ordered 3 used Xbox games from them earlier this year. I never really cared to check if they were terribly scratched up but I did play them many times and I never had a problem with them. I'd check the games right now but I just sold them back to EB for a few bucks each. The manuals were "well used"(in other words, they were wrinkled and looked like crap) but I don't care about them. So to conclude, I had a good expeience. It said on their used game page that they games are guaranteed to have a manual and work. I don't know if it still says that.

I've gotten one game from eb B&M and had no problems with it. They said that if it didn't work just bring it back and they would replace it. Don't have any expirence with them online though.

I'm glad they changed the descriptions now to reflect the actual condition of used products. Before I ordered a couple of Xbox games and they didn't come with the original cover (but they did have a green jewel case). I printed the covers from the web site cdcovers.

Most of the games are scratched, but play fine. I never received any with deep scratches. A couple of the games looked brand new. The manuals in the used ones were in decent condition. The worst thing is there are up to 5 or 6 ebgames stickers on the manual and outer case and those are very messy to remove.

How/why do people scratch up the discs so badly? I have 1 game that has a single scratch on it from leaving it in the console while I was moving it between locations.

I bought a used copy of Maximo off of ebgames.com and when I received it was a blockbuster previous played copy. The case and the instructions had a bunch of stickers. The disc played fine but I hate how messed up the case looks.

I buy most of my games used through EB B&M, but have order about 6 used online the past year. In the last batch I ordered a copy of HitmanII that would not load, I tookit back to a local store and told them I was having problems, they gave me another copy. This worked without any questions for me, but YMMV with this though, I am not sure.

All the games I have ordered through the online have had those yellow stickers you see in the store. It is pretty obvious that that they came from EB if asked. The last few I ordered they put white stickers over the yellow ones which I thought might give me a problem when I took the game in for an exchange... they guy never even asked to see the box though.

All-in-all... I'll keep buying EB used games since they offer a lifetime trade-in guarantee with them. I still don't understand (unless it is a gift) why when they tell people the used ones have a lifetime guarantee and the new ones (usually $5 more) only have a 30 day guarantee, why people will still buy the new one instead.

Hope this helps someone.
