Sea World and Universal studios in Orlando, FL are giving free admissions to anyone with a military ID and their "family" (friends) through the end of the year. Just go to the ticket booth and ask about it and no questions asked, free admission. Plus, when you are leaving you can get another anytime (till promotion is over) pass for the card holder, and passes for your friends that are good for a week. $9 for parking. Not bad if your in the area and you know someone with a military ID.
I think disney is running a similar special in the new year, but more on that when i find out.

The Seaworld at San Antonio has been having this deal. I didn't know about the Disney properties. I'm active duty heading to Orlando in the spring. Does anyone know the range of dates for this?

Thanks

Yeah, I'm active Army and got the scoop.

Just about all major Amusement Parks are giving free admission to active military.

Disney World is giving away a 1 week "All inclusive" pass to the military member and 50% off to his guests on the same pass.
SeaWorld and Universal are free passes to Active members and Family with "ID".

The ITT or MWR office on your base/post has all the info and can even book your military lodging.

Don't forget the Military Lodging that is available too. Its like 25 bucks a night if i remember correctly.

The Free Passes Deal runs till April.

--------------------------
On a side note, if your In Seattle area and an active duty military/police/fire/EMT, you can call Seahawks Ticket office and get 4 free tickets to that weeks Seahawks game. (1800GOHAWKS or something close)

Right before i left Seattle Area in Oct., I went to 2 Seahawks games for free.

I was wondering about expiration dates of the tickets. Anyone know, if you can get them now, and use them at a later date? like in a year or 2 or whatever? I bought tickets to Disney in Orlando several years ago and never used them, the agent said those tickets were good indefinately. I wonder if the military ones are?

I'm guessing but I would bet they're only good in the off season, which is Jan to Apr.
