" Got mine in the mail yesterday.

The sample I received says "All Purpose HOUSEHOLD GOOP" on the tube.

Already have about 30 things I need to glue back together.

Well, I just received my sample, and all I have to say is I hope that those 30 things you need to glue back together are really small (like toothpicks).....

That sample tube will give you maybe 5 square inches of bond coverage.....

I guess that it is a decision the manufacturer has to make when giving away samples is just HOW BIG A SAMPLE do you give.

You don't want to give away so much that a potential customer will not need to go out and buy any, the sample being sufficient for their needs...

But on the other hand, you have this example of, in my opinion, BAD advertising/publicity.
This tiny tube itself, plus the labor involved in the filling and packaging far surpassed the cost of the actual "Goop" to the manufacturer, not to mention shipping costs.

For essentially no additional cost, the manufacturer could have given away a more substantial sized sample, more likely to make a favorable impression on a potential purchaser, IMHO.

tried it, this stuff sucks, my toilet lever broke and i glued it back together (plastic), it didnt even stay.

Works better than my epoxy. Unfortunately the plastic part of my key attached the actual metal key broke after a week or two even though it lasted longer than than the epoxy.. Still great stuff. Will definantly buy if I need to super glue stuff together.

Got mine a couple weeks ago. Came in an envelope that had a huge do not airmail sticker on it. Apparently airplanes are allergic to this stuff...
