Free ringtones seem to be harder and harder to find...

OK so, before I say anything else, would just like to say HEY bmacd i DID use the search button, and i still have a question (if any of you have searched current and archived messages on this, you'll see bmacd likes to ask people to use the search button, just wanted to let him know i did)

ANYWAY, I have a 3360 for personal use, and zingy worked fine for downloading ringtones for it back in like February. Now it seems zingy charges. I have tried supermegaphone, me43, and many others but cannot get them to send a ringtone to the phone. Never really bothered me until yesterday, when work gave me a cell phone to use.

The phone they gave me is a 5165, which my wife also has, and i have NEVER been successful in getting her phone to successfully have a ringtone sent to it. NOW i have new resolve to find a place that will send 5165s ringtones, since i have one myself.

I've searched on google, and tried to sift thorugh all the crap sites, and .co.uk sites, and can't find ANY that both work and are free... anyone got some super secret hidden ringtone fountian they would like to share? i swear the ATOT people will keep it secret...

i dunno.. i like the regular *ring ring* standard ring tone the best.. all those others just annoy me.

well, on my phone, i have Tool - 46 and 2, Alien Ant Farm - Smooth Criminal, and Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple or whoever, and i switch between them... that way in a crowded space, if a phone rings, i know its my own (plus it vibrates, but sometimes i have a lot of stuff in my pockets and i can't feel it)

with the 5165, no vibration, and i would prefer a song ring tone...

WELL, i can't really do that, cuz my wife and i are on the same plan/bill/thingy, and we got a 2 year plan only back in februrary

they offered to pay $35 of the bill, but that also meant everyone at work got my number and could call it whenever they needed to.

Figured the free phone is the way to go, and if i don't wanna talk to people from work i can turn it off

but i'm glad to see i'm not retarted... others are at least having trouble finding them
