i searched but as far as i can tell no one has posted this..?

a mystery package showed up for me today from amazon with a "promotional gift" sticker on the ups box. i opened it up and found a huge treasure trove of goodies from amazon's new grocery store. the enclosed form letter says they sent it to me to thank me for being one of amazon.com's "best customers" and to encourage me to shop in amazon grocery (i already do). they included a *ton* of sample size food and drug items. i've never received anything like this before so it was pretty fun.

YMMV: i order a lot from amazon, i'm a prime member, and i use their visa. this may all play into it, i don't know. i'm not trying to brag or show off, just wanted to let everyone know to watch your mailboxes. the box was shipped ups ground from seattle to sf on 8/17 if anyone cares.

hope others get this too!!

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. Good to know companies are still going the extra mile to keep customers... even big ones like amazon that really don't need to do so. Almost makes me wish I shopped there more often :).

I was expecting some gourmet pears. They're not protecting their investment by killing your heart like that. For shame Amazon, for shame. :p

Hmm... I order from them about once a year, don't have their Visa card and don't have prime shipping - think I'll get one?

side note: checked price for Post Honey Bunches of Oats, family size 21oz box.
Amazon - pkg of 4 boxes for $22.12 or $5.53 per box.
local Walmart - 1 box $2.58

Hope there are better prices on other things.

I got one as well. I also order from them a lot, have their Visa, and have prime shipping (a trial, not a paid membership). My pack seems largely overlapping with yours, but some minor differences in the items.

junk food is one of the four major food groups :D

Besides, I see batteries, Breathe Right strips, Go Lean Crunch, Heart Smart something, Immodium, and Special K to balance out the Chocolate toffee Chex Mix, Chocolate fudge cake, Corn Nuts and Oreos. :)
