I just followed up today on this, and even gave my work
email address. I got back a message that said that
&quot;We will act on your request right away.&quot; It then went
on with
&quot;I have a question for you. How did you come across our site?
We have had a large surge of requests in the last three days
and are wondering if you could tell us the source. We must
be doing something right or have stumbled into something.&quot;

And it was signed by a Program Manager at Litton.

Gee, can anyone here guess what they must have stumbled into?

Hey, they may be good sports and come across with the posters
anyway.

It's about the worse thing you can do....some employers may even fire you for such usage....

Use a hotmail/yahoomail account.....

And in some cases accessing a person email account can get you
into worst trouble depending on what email you've gotten.

So for the deals from places like IBM &amp; Veritas where I might
be even marginally interested in their spam, or I reasonably
believe that they will let me opt out, I'll use my work email.

For the beef jerky - I used my home email address that I use for
junk mail.
