Ya, it is a great service, and shipping AND suppies are free if you are registered with them, on that site he gives above, click on order supplies under Priority and Express links, and it takes you to the order page. I sure hope people don't abuse this service, it's invaluable to business owners like myself.
My roommate used to run a website and used the USPS's service and it is indeed free. In fact we still have left over priority mail tape. This is a great thing for small business owners trying to cut costs and have less overhead costs. Finally a government agency gives back to the people. =)
This is a pretty bada@ss find, CouponCollect. I used to live across the street from the post office, and now its a real pain driving there to ship 1 lousy thing a few times a week.
Actually divinemartyr, the cost of these do come out of the cost to ship ($3.20) because usps is a break-even government agency. That's partially why they're gonna raise the price of stamps to $.34 in January.
Actually Jdog, the USPS is now a quasi-govt agency, and they never have "broken-even". They are given subsidies in the budget every year to cover their deficit.
I do know that Express and Priority mail supplies are free, and delivered free. A great service, but after a few orders they made me sign a certification that the supplies would not be abused...
Then what was that news report a few weeks ago that said that the USPS had such a big profit from last year. Don't understand the .01 uprate if they had the biggest profit in their history.
The usps is the only financially self sufficient government ageny, and yes they do turn a regular profit on a yearly basis. Where does the extra money go?? who knows! I hope that settles this conversation!
