I filled out the form... said there were no magazines for me (I guess "OTHER" was not an acceptable job title) and the software offer basically disappeared. No mention of it. I opted out of the email stuff, but I wonder if I'll still get spam.

it said it had my email addy in their database already and I tried a password and it seemed to work. Then it said it had no magazines but I could look through their selection and then I would have had to add one to my cart and the damn software wasn't mentioned anymore so then I had to log in again and it said it had no record of my email addy.....

......this is obviously too much for me to cope with.

When I got to the bottom of the _extensive_ questionaire (which is similar to what I filled out when applying for Infoworld, which I checked this time, BTW), it asks if you want a free 1 year subs to PC Mag digital format. Is this recommended? I know, I'll get mail from them. What the hell?

Edit: Woops! I guess it wasn't the end of the questionaire. It goes on and on... It looked like the end like a mirage in the desert, I guess...

It says it's all pending their evaluation of your questionaire when you're done, folks. I've filled out more than a couple questionaires trying to get on InfoWorld's mailing list. Hasn't happened yet.
