I've downloaded Star Control 2 and have no idea how to play it. Anyone have any ideas or a link to the directions?

If you go into the games directory there is a manual file with all the keyboard commands.

If you mean emulators and ROMs, those ROMs are not "free," you're technically breaking the law if you download and use them. They're still copyrighted material. Whether or not you get prosecuted is another matter.

And Xcom: Apocalypse is severely underrated. It is an excellent game. Advanced functions and a worthy successor to UFO Defence/Enemy Unknown.
