For those who play Enemy Territory there's a ton of community maps out there. I reinstall my pc every so often so I compiled a cd of over 90 maps of final objective based maps only (no betas). You can dl the 644MB iso if you wish. Handy for those reinstalls.

I've been playing Runescape for a couple of weeks. It's a free online rpg. You can play right from your browser or you can dl their small client app. Actually you can become a paid member and you get access to extra features but you are required to p2p.

FYI Knights Online is NOT free.

After you install it you have to pay for "e-points" in order to play! :|

This was kind of dissapointing. There's no word on the site about paying, I created a char and had everything set.... then it told me I needed e-points. Looks like a nice game too.

Actually, when this thread was new, I checked that game and it was, indeed, free, but it also required e-points. IIRC, all I had to do was fill out a survey or click on some ad or something like that to give me the required e-points. I don't know if that was a temporary promotion or not, though.

It was a decent game for a while, but it got VERY repetitive, VERY fast - the "grinding" effect started to take its toll before I even hit level 16. I've since uninstalled it due to the boredom factor. I guess it's not for everyone, though, so if you still want to try it, feel free, but I give it a 5/10.

It's in beta stage and I found about it while playing a little bit of Knights Online. Don't know when it's going P2P but if you're bored you can try it out.

Here are some free programs to play MTG card game online. Magic Workstation is free in beta, however it will bog down older systems pretty quick so it's hard to play at the office ;). Apprentice is my personal favorite.

BTW - Anyone know of any porgrams I can use to play Dungeons & Dragons free onliine with some friends from out of town?

Project Entropia is a free MMORPG. well it's mostly free you have the option of buying in game money with real world money and it makes starting out alot faster. the money system is kinda odd in that you can transfer game money into real money buy depositing it into your bank acount. not the best game out but realy good for a freeish game.
