I went and had an IHOP breakfast. My first time at IHOP. Good stuff. The food was good, the service was good. I got a chicken ceasar salad along with my short stack, the salad was very tasty, good chicken, I liked the way they spiced the chicken. I also liked the variety of the syrups that they have.
The IHOP I went to was near a university, and still no wait to be seated. The normal wait for the food to be served. So no massive crowds and 1 hour waits like some people were saying would happen.
For all those concerned or whining about the charity thing this is the way it worked at the IHOP I went to. At the door is a guy asking people who come in if they want to donate and handing out a pamphlet. I just walked by him. When you get the bill, the paper folder its in is a little paper that requests money.
Thats it. No obligation. If you've ever walked past salvation army at walmart asking for donations, you've experianced more pressure than at IHOP. I didn't feel pressured, and no store employee asked me for anything.
All in all I had a good time.
