I bought some online without a prescription.
They asked for the name and phone no. of my eyedoc, so I gave them the number of the guy in a local mall.
I don't think they give a dam whether you have a prescription or not.
There are a lot of online contact lens dealers.

I know I shouldn't ask this but does anyone know of a web store that sells contacts that you know does not actually verify the prescription information? Like maybe they ask for the doctors info but they don't actually perform the check. The last time I ordered contacts off the web they did not require verification of that but it seems there is some new law that requires them to verify prescriptions now. It has been a few years since my last prescription and I don't think it would be valid and would like to try one box of the new Acuvue Advances to see if they are improved over my existing Acuvue 2's. I ordered from them a month ago and they didn't ask for ANY doctor info. I've been using them for the past three years for my contacts. Decent company. Never had any problem from them to complain about.

Cool! I figure since its been three years since my last prescription that I need to go up in power .5 or so, my night vision has become worse since then. I know that I really should get a new prescription and I will soon I just need to get a single box of those Advances to see how they are. Thanks a lot climb.

This deal's still around? I thought it would have been dead awhile ago. My neice uses contacts and I asked my brother if he would like me to order some for her, but he hasn't gotten back to me. Don't know if he ordered any or not.

always wanted to try contact lenses but never really wanted to get off my arse....all i know is that iv been using glasses sense 5th grade(now in sophmore) and the paper my doc gave me says i have 20/40 in left and 20/70 in right.....

If you didn't get your contacts, try ordering them again, or send them an email, because mine came right away - one of the few freebees I didn't have to wait for,

I ordered some of these Visionstar lenses from VisionDirect.com
I don't have a recent prescription, so I gave them the name of an eye care store at the local mall. Either they didn't check or they don't care, because they shipped my order. 😉
