Free or open source software for doing Calculus problems?

I'd like to use one, rather than getting a a Ti-84 calculator.

I'm hoping to self-study for Calculus I & II.

Sage, a python based CAS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sage_(mathematics_software)

Wolfram Alpha's pretty decent for really simple queries.

There's Octave for something similar to Mathmatica. You need Cygwin to use it on Windows.
