OP you do realise this is almost certainly an update CD that while it just might have the full files on it, it will certainly NOT come with a serial number (Yes I know that's what the internet is for but Piracy is NOT a "Hot Deal" )

Edit: cart says its the "Office Pro XP Win32 English Patch CD SP3"
You'll be getting SP3 on CD....not full office
The only people who will be interested in this aren't reading this forum (IOW modem users)

Chill out guys... sometimes I'm fixing a computer in a non-networked environment on behalf of that modem user. Same reason slipstreaming SP2 into XP CDs is useful... because it might not be practical to download on the fly. He never stated it was the whole suite for free, and this is hot to the appropriate audience.

I understood the thread title completely. If it was *FREE* Office XP WITH Service Pack 3 on CD, then you'd have something else entirely. ;)

Bah humbug to you all! :p

I still say its saving the cost of burning a CD...which you'd probably do anyway to carry other stuff besides Office SP 3 ;)

After entering my info and making a typo on the phone number I got this:

Thank you for your interest in the Office XP Service Pack 3.

The following error(s) has occurred:
You must enter a 10-digit bill-to phone number, including area code. NOTE: BILL-TO PHONE NUMBER!

I got right out of it. Better check your phone bills if you completed the transaction.

Relax guys. Bill-to phone number is the phone number on record with your credit card issuer. Not which line where you want a 900 charge sent. :)

So I just got this in the mail. Is it SP 3? What is the "office" part have to do with it? Is it essentially the same thing as the SP 2 cd, just a few months later with more updates?...........:)

Dude....why would you order this if you have NO idea what it's for?

It is Service Pack 3 for Office XP from Microsoft. It supercedes and replaces Service Pack 2. You need Office XP on your PC to run this Service Pack 3.
