Bleh anyone actually have any luck applying the SP-1 off the web based installer or the downloaded version? I have tried so far on 3 different installations of OS/Office.

I wonder if this will be the same situation like the SP for Office 2000 where a LARGE number of people had trouble installing SP1 or SP2.

Finality and other in the same situation...,

I have tried several times to update Office with their SP1 but there are some cases (like Office with frontpage) that the SP doesn't work :Q
If it gives you "Error 1328" the following url gives instructions about how to make an updated Office CD
In general, this error has been found to occur when the following software are installed:

- Windows XP Pro Corporate and Office XP Pro with FrontPage
- English version of Office and windows

Too bad that MS doesn't give out their proofing tools CD like that

You look cool when you have an original copy rather than a ugly burned copy with the marker SP1. :)
