Giving them away. Here's the cut and paste text from after I signed up for mine:

Hey,

Want a free Obama button? MoveOn's giving them away totally free--no strings attached. I just got mine, and wanted to share the opportunity with you.

Click this link to get a free Obama button:

Thanks!

Talk about the buttons people, not the politics, or this will get locked. A word to the wise. 🙂

That cheap bastard wants me to pay for more than 1. That's it, I won't vote for him now.

Perfect examples of how McCain and his followers aren't as smart as Obama and his campaigners. Thanks for reinforcing my opinion of McCain supporters.

i highly doubt any of us would actually do this, i know i won't. on the other hand, i have seen the college democrats out at night stealing campaign signs and pealing stickers off cars. I am AFRAID to voice my opinion this year, for fear of my car being vandalized. whats that about the first amendment everyone keeps talking about? oh, i guess that does not apply to supporting the other guy!

that said, i have to find somebody to get me some McCain stuff, i refuse to contribute on account of the government already having too much of my money.

edit: and a bump. because i encourage people to show their opinion, and encourage good debate.

The thing is these aren't costing Obama a cent. Look at the url. It is a private, nonprofit political organization unaffiliated with the Obama campaign. Why the juvenile hate?

Thanks for the link DrPizza.

I've seen vehicles vandalized over political bumper stickers. I don't like them because they are a pain to get off and might lift your paint, but also after seeing what some people did to a person's truck for having a bush sticker on it I just don't want to risk that as well.

It is a George Soros funded organization. It is a means for individuals to get around the maximum financial contribution to a politician laws.
