I already have visual studio 6 (not .net).
Is there a way to install this so that the "studio" portion is upgraded yet still compatible with visual C++6 or do I need to have 2 installations in "parallel" on of the old visual studio (but with VC++) and one of VB.NET?

I got my 2 copies the past few days. I was disappointed because I was under the impression that you got the entire Visual Studio .Net standard 2003 edition. Oh well, free is free and I already have Visual Studio .Net 2003 Professional anyway.

Basically what you get is:
VB .Net 2003 Disc 1
V.Studio .Net 2003 Prerequisites CD (This is used to prep your PC to get V.Studio .Net 2003 installed)
MSDN Library Disk 1-3
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 CD.
