"Must be a valid OEM to receive a free pen*."

What exactly does that mean?

Cool. I am a designer for an OEM. As a matter of fact, I've worked with Pioneer and I've implemented IrDA. They never offered a pen to me. This better go through.

Thanks for the post.

I'm not an OEM, but they sent me one. If you're really an OEM, why wouldn't they?

<< Hope this works, I need one of these pens. >>

Maybe these are really expensive pens, but, can't you just buy one? I know nothing is better than free, but if you NEED it...

It reminds me of that staples commercial where everyone in the office had to share ONE pen.

BTW... largest 3 electronics distributors are Arrow, Avnet, and Pioneer-Standard.

Just ordered, hope it comes...

Microsoft gave these pens away for free as part of a Pocket PC promotion. Not bad.....not the greatest either. But free is good :D

Damn, AT really did a number on them huh? I'm surprised the message doesn't read: ...due to Anandtech...

Good thing we built in a "auto-vaporizing" confirmation for non-OEMs. At last count 571+ registrants will not be getting a FREE pen due to not being a legitimate, qualified lead. Thanks for your time though....heh heh. The few that actually make it through the guantlet will receive a phone call for follow-up.....no contact = no pen. Enjoy!
