i did a search in google, and aside from quicktime pro, you can also try a program called bink. you can find information about it here. also, if you digital camera is producing .mov files, does it come with its own conversion program?

I have a S110, and it outputs .mov's too. But they're really MJPEGs, which are similar to MPEGs. I remember being able to use something (I thought it was VirtualDub) to convert to MPEG. You'll need to make sure you have any necessary codec's installed.
