To answer all the above questions:

This isn't going to be a cube fridge as you might expect. It's much smaller, can probably hold two 2-liter bottles side by side and a few sandwiches or so. Also, these are not refrigerators in the classic sense: these portable "fridges" are actually Peltier devices, which explains why they can be used to warm too. (All you OC freaks should be familiar with the technology)

Good for those people who don't like getting up from in the middle of the night or from their desk while working for a drink or snack. Think of it more as an electric cooler than a refrigerator, it will take something already cool and keep it that way, unless you have a lot of time on your hands for it to actively cool something Same goes for warming, it's not a microwave

Retail on these is in the ballpark of $60. I almost bought one just like the one pictured a few years ago.
