I believe if it was released prior to Oct. 2003 then yes it should be on it. But I am not 100% sure

Hmm.. has anyone received this yet? I just checked my order status today. It says "Back Ordered" but the status date is old, too:

"Back Ordered
Status as of: 2/19/2004 6:40:50 PM"

I received an email message last night stating that mine had shipped. Previously, it had been in the "Back Ordered" status...

Sweet! This will come in handy when I reformat. Thanks!
Also great when doing those computer builds for friends.

Has anyone actually received this yet?

Mine supposedly shipped on the 11th but, it hasn't got here yet. When I click on the tracking information icon on the order status (at the MS site), it comes up with an error about not having a tracking number...

Thanks OP.

I just tried it now and I am not sure, but there might be an updated CD, because I got on the order page "windows security update 2004 for February"...is this what everyone else got when they ordered it....I did not get it yet, I just ordered it. Here is the actual line item:

B82-00170 1 Win Update 2004 English NA Feb Direct 2CD Windows Security Kit $0.00 $0.00

I got mine yesterday. It says it can be used on any MS OS from Windows 98 on up. It also comes with a trial CD for an antivirus and firewall software from Computer Associates.

How would you burn the updates you get from the MS site? I'm using autoupdate to get them...where would i look for the installer files? Or do i have to re-download them to burn?

Newbie question, but this post reminded me, and it would definitely come in handy for reformatting work with new pc's...
