Dear Giles,

Thank you for requesting the free Microsoft Security Poster series. Unfortunately, due to unexpectedly high demand our supply of posters was quickly exhausted, so we will not be able to fulfill your request. However, Adobe Acrobat versions of each of the three posters are available for free download at http://www.microsoft.com/education/?ID=SecurityPosters.

Thank you again for your interest, and please accept our sincerest apologies.

blah 🙁

From the looks of things, it doesn't seem like anyone's gonna get theirs. I haven't.

I must have gotten in under the wire...here's what I received on 2/24:

"Thank you for requesting the Microsoft Security Poster series. Due to unexpectedly high demand, each household will receive 15 posters so that we may accommodate as many requests as possible. Please allow 2-4 weeks for shipment. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.

For immediate access to the poster images, Adobe Acrobat versions of these posters are available for free download at..."

Time will tell if I actually get them or not.

I got the 'Dear John' email as well..... They might have had enough posters if they only gave one set of three per request instead of TWENTY FIVE SETS per request.
I was semi-excited by the PDF statement until i saw what low res they are 🙁

Yup, I got this email like last week

I just got a huge tube of posters in the mail....

Sigh... I just was testing to see if they came. I hate these posters. I guess I'll pass them out at work! 🙂

OR........ I could hang on to them and once they become collectors items I'll ebay them?????? NAH!!!!! They are just too ugly for that.

Same as others...no poster...

BUT I could download and print the Adobe Acro-rat versions of them....

Received my posters today. The IT department was quite happy to receive them. (these ones will actually get used, vs. the zillion people who ordered them just for the sake of it)

I'm so angry @ MS, I'm not going to steal any more of their software again, ever.

. . .er, wait, nevermind

😱

I got my posters today. I didn't count them out, but it looks to be about 5 of each or so.

If for some reason anyone wants any of them that didn't get them, you can mail me a poster tube with a couple bucks in it for shipping and I'll send you one of each. PM me for address if you really want them.

As far as the comment about the PDFs being low rez... so are the posters. They are probably only 100-150dpi or so. They are posters though, so it doesn't matter. No one looks at posters for too long.

🙁 oh well i'll go "free download" it.. and print in segments with company color laser printer on glossy paper and then put it together.
