Some ppl in the other forums have reported that it worked at Macy's and Rockport stores. You have to try the MIB2 rockport boots.

This is true -- see this link for details.

There's a limited list of stores that are participating, and they have a list on the above page. None in my area though. :(

Actually I heard a radio ad last week that Nordstrom's is participating with this promo, I'll let you know if I'm successful at getting free tickets or not.

Portland/Vancouver AT people, I'm going to Pioneer Place to eat lunch right now ... I'll visit the Nordstrom near Pioneer Square afterwards to see if they know anything about this deal.

Will report back in an hour or so.

Just got back from Nordstrom's @ Pioneer Square and they are giving away free MIB2 tickets if you try on the MIB2 shoe, takes a whopping 30 seconds, just say no thanks not interested they hand you 1 free ticket good for 1 admission (not 2 - like the typical free movie ticket). I also tried on a pair of brown Rockport shoes which were VERY comfortable, they're casual quasi-dress ok to wear with khaki's, so I bought 'em at $99.95 and the guy gave me another free MIB2 ticket so my wife could go with me.

Thanks! I found some comfy dress shoes and got 2 free movie tickets!

damn rossman not a bad deal... sounds like they didn't hassle you or give you a never-ending sales pitch.

question - how long are the tickets good for? i imagine it's going to be pretty crowded opening weekend.

Sounds good, I'll have to call up a few local shoe places. I've never even heard of Rockport shoes, but I just asked someone and I guess they are high end comfortable stuff. Plus I need some new comfortable shoes actually.
