Free MaximumPC Issue

Just to let you know, after they send you the free issue, they start you on a yearly subscription...at least thats what happened to me. And I was lazy on canceling and didnt pay the subscription rate and they sent me some pretty sarcastic and rude postcards about not paying...honestly i thought it wasnt funny but low class and was kinda pissed. just be sure to cancel your subscription after your free issue if they start you on one....i didnt even know till they sent me a 2nd issue automatically.
 
This IS a great mag, and I think it was around 15-20 per a yearly subscription! The only one I get (willing to take suggestions on other good mags 🙂)
 
Great mag, I've been subscribing since it was called "Boot".

Amazon has it for $12 for 12 issues without a CD. I've been paying that price for years now.
 
As far as computer mags go this is one of the best. It's also by far the funniest. I've been reading it off and on for a few years now and no other mag entertains and informs me like MaximumPC (Minimum BS).

You should consider subscribing to National Geographic, that's a great magazine.
